These past few months have been about investing in my business. When I'm not working at my full time gig in the financial industry, you can typically find me on my laptop, scouring the internet for design inspiration, working on client projects, and have a little design fun too.
Last week I made a big investment in my business after reaching a milestone I set out for myself earlier this year. The Broad + Main studio now has a 27' iMac with retina display proudly on it's desk and I couldn't love this machine more! After working on a laptop for years, it is amazing to work on such a powerful machine.
To celebrate the new investment (and really just to have an excuse to spend hours on the computer) I've been working on a new conceptual branding project for a Charleston based food and lifestyle photographer and highly acclaimed food critic and blogger. This project was inspired by my love of Charleston and an upcoming trip my husband and I are planning in October. We spent hours last week reading menus and researching new to us places in Charleston, and are so excited to see and taste at these new places.
There is more to come on this project, but below is a sneak peek at the mood board for "The Tasting Room."
